Back in 1974, the Washington Post wrote an article that stated THC “slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice, and prolonged their lives by as much as 36%.” Ever since, up until the dawn of the internet, the world kept quiet about that fact.
There is a video footage that demonstrates how particular strains of THC kill cancer cells without affecting the healthy ones. Some years later in 1998, Madrid Complutense conducted a study where it was revealed that ”THC can cause cancer cells to die, and unlike chemotherapy the THC kills nothing but the cancer cells, leaving the brain of course completely unharmed.”
Namely, the Delta 9 THC eliminates cancer cells because when it binds and enters the cell membrade, it causes the production of a type of waxy fat called ceramide. Ceramide causes hydrolysisin the myelin sheath, which leads to the cell’s destruction.
The following three videos give excellent examples concerning this matter. There’s even a footage that shows the molecule binging of THC with cells and slaying the cancerous ones.
