There is a small population in Northern Pakistan where it seems like the word “disease” is almost unfamiliar, and where the happiest and longest-living people live. These incredible people known as the Hunza people don’t know about cancer, give birth at 65, and regularly bath in cold water.
Dr. Robert McCarrison claims that there’s not one person from the Hunza who suffered from cancer (AMA Journal).
The reason behind this amazing phenomenon is that, first of all, the Hunza grow and harvest their own food, don’t eat a lot and their diet is based on raw fruits and vegetables, nuts, dried apricots, milk, cereals like barley, millet, buckwheat, legumes, eggs, and rarely cheese. They regularly consume apricots, but initially, dry them in the sun.
The second factor is their physical activity. They spend their entire day walking. Thirdly, their tradition includes fasting of 2-4 months, when they do not consume anything, except for dried apricot juice, until their fruits ripen for harvest.
According to some experts this fast is responsible for their enhanced life quality and health, and they believe that these people are cancer-free because of the high amounts of apricots they consume.
The apricot fruit contains the powerful anti-cancer agent or vitamin B-17.
In 1984, Said Abdul Mbundu, a Hunza man, shocked the airport officers when he arrived in London. When they reviewed his documents, it said that he was born in 1832! This is due to their healthy diet and lifestyle. It is believed that many of these people have a lifespan of 100 years and some of them even cross 100.
