How To Make Cancer-Fighting Alkaline Water At Home

Knowing that our brain is made up of 70% water, while our body is 80%, then it is only logical to consider water as one of the most important things we consume every day. Did you know that every morning you’ve already lost 2 cups of water while sleeping?

It is important to know that right after you wake up, you must drink at least 2 cups of filtered alkaline water. Starting the day with other kinds of liquid, such as coffee, will only contribute to your dehydration.

You should also be aware to avoid tap water since it is consisted of chlorine, antibiotics, hormones and other metals that will go straight into your system.

This kind of water can weaken the immune system and cause other illnesses that occur when the immune system is vulnerable.

The importance of alkaline water and why we should keep our body alkaline is because when we have an acidic environment, we risk suffering from low energy, fatigue, digestive issues, and weight. This is avoidable if we drink purified water and consume fresh organic vegetables with a healthy acid/alkaline balance.

Moreover, acidic environment can cause arthritis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and cancer, and cancer in particular thrives in an acidic environment.

“High degrees of acidity force our bodies to rob minerals from the bones, cells, organs and tissues. Cells end up lacking enough minerals to properly dispose of waste or oxygenate completely,” says Dr. Axe.

Alkaline filtration systems are costly, but there is a cheaper way. You can find alkaline wands at your local health food store for around $30.

To prepare an alkaline beverage at your home, you will need:

  • 1 pitcher (64 ounces) of clean filtered water
  • 1 organic lemon, washed, cut into eighths
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt

All you need to do add the lemon wedges (not squeezed) in the pitcher, add 1 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt, cover, and let sit overnight (8-12 hrs.) at room temperature and your drink is done.
