Four years ago a young man was diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes. He would constantly feel thirsty and when he went to the doctor to talk about this matter, the doctor discovered that his blood level was 29 which basically meant that the man’s pancreas didn’t function at all so he would have to depend on insulin all his life.
He started taking prescribed medicines and started doing sports. But, all of that didn’t help him and he started being worse. Because of the many meds he was taking he started facing with other health problems, his triglyceride levels jumped to 16 and his blood pressure was 150/100.
On New Year’s Eve he made a New Year’s resolution to change things and get his health back. It actually started when he saw the show “The Edge of Science” where Dr. John Zirdum had an interview. In this interview he talked about how he’s been eating raw foods for 12 years. The man decided to follow Dr. Zirdum steps and started to consume raw blended food.
At the beginning he did have cravings for the food he used to eat, but he didn’t give up. After some time of practicing the diet, his blood sugar levels dropped to 5.
In 25 days he managed to lose 11 kg, and in 4 months he was down 20kg less. He threw out the insulin, his blood pressure was 120/70 and the triglyceride levels were 1.4.
This is his recipe for success:
- 5 bananas
- 2 apples
- 2 kiwis
- A handful of kale
Put all of them in a bowl and pour half a liter of water over them. Drink half a liter of the juice in the morning and the rest all through the day. If you decide to try this diet, note that you should constantly eat fresh fruits, fruit salads and tuna, because it contains high amounts of vitamin B12.
