People generally use the same plastic bottles of water or juice, many times, not knowing that it can be poisonous. However, some containers are intended for single use only.
At the bottom of each plastic bottle is a triangle with a number in the middle, and below it is the sign that tells you how dangerous is plastic. If the bottle is intended for single use you should not use more times. Here is what is meaning of every tag.

Much of bottles for mineral and plain water and carbonated drinks are labeled PET Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) (often PETE) (with no. 1 in the triangle). It is important to know that they are intended exclusively for single use. There is a possibility with any subsequent filling of water to emit heavy metals antimony, a chemical compound EPA, which hinders the action of hormones. These bottles can discharged carcinogens substances.
This plastic is safe
You will know them by remittances HDP High Density Polyethylene (or HDPE), LDPE Low Density Polyethylene and PP Polypropylene, or numbers 2. 4 and 5. LDPE is kind of plastic that, unfortunately, was not generally used for making bottles, only bags for packaging groceries. HDP is a good choice, like PP which is mainly used for yogurt cups and it have white color.

It is plastic with indication PVC Polyvinyl Chloride (sometimes 3V), PS Polystyrene and PC (often without indication) or numbers in triangle – 3. 6 and 7.
PVC emits two dangerous chemicals that interfere the functioning of hormones in the body.
PS discharged into water carcinogenic substance – STIREN. Commonly is used for plastic coffee cups, disposable packaging or fast food.
PC (or no indication – No 7) is the worst plastic for packaging foods because discharged dangerous chemical BPA. Unfortunately, is used for baby’s bottles, bottles for athletes and dishes for preparing food.
