Many experiences from cancer survivors show the effectiveness of baking soda as a method to fight cancer. Even though, oncologists still pursue chemo as the only available treatment because of profit. Chemotherapy doesn’t fight cancer, nor has the ability to destroy it. It is not effective, in fact it boosts cancer and does harm to the body.

Few years ago, the National Institute of Health granted Dr. Mark Pagel, a member of the University of Arizona Cancer Center, 2 million for him to investigate the effectiveness of personalized soda in treating breast cancer. This shows that clearly scientists are aware of the power of sodium bicarbonate. This substance not only saves lives in the ER in a moment, but is also the most effective and safest cancer treatment.
Studies have shown that dietary measures to boost bicarbonate levels can increase the pH of acidic tumors without upsetting the pH of the blood and healthy tissues. In a breast cancer study, it’s been shown that sodium bicarbonate makes acidic tumors become alkaline and inhibit metastasis. Firmly trusting and relying on the results from these studies, renowned doctors like Dr. Julian Whitaker have adopted successful cancer treatment protocols as part of an overall nutritional and immune support program for patients who are suffering from cancer.

In his protocol, Dr. Whitaker recommends 12g (2 rounded teaspoons) of baking soda mixed in 2 cups of water. This mixture should be consumed 3 times a day, with an hour or two time apart from each drinking. There is a man claiming that he has cured himself with consuming sodium bicarbonate.

There are two ways of consuming sodium bicarbonate: orally and transdermally in medical baths. It is very potent in treating cancer, kidney diseases, diabetes, influenza, and even radiation and common cold.

Ina study conducted on mice by Dr. Robert. J. Gillies and his colleagues, it’s been shown that pre-treating mice with baking soda leads to alkalinization of the area and the tumors. It also increases tumor’s pH and inhibits spontaneous metastases in micewith breast cancer.
Baking soda is widely used for many purposes. This powdery looking white crystalline substance is used as a leavening agent in baking by being dissolved in mineral water, and it also works as a leavening agent by neutralizing the acidic components of batter. The neutralization releases carbon dioxide and leads to the “raising” or expansion of baked foods. Furthermore, it’s used to soften vegetables and tenderize meat, it can also be used as cleaning agent, and it is included in toothpastes for similar reasons where it serves as an antiseptic, acid-neutralizer, whitening agent and plaque-removing agent as well as a cleaning agent.

The pH level in our body is extremely important. A healthy person has a pH level close to 7.35-7.45. Keeping this level will prevent us from getting sick and being able to resist acute illnesses like common cold and flues, cancer and other diseases.

When the pH level is below 7.35, it is a warning that something is wrong with our body. This is a sign that it has become acidic. When the body can no longer effectively neutralize and eliminate the acids, it relocates them within the body’s extra-cellular fluids and connective tissue cells directly compromising cellular integrity. It is also bad when the pH level is above 7.45. This means that the body has become too alkaline, thus metabolic alkalosis occurs which can lead to severe consequences if not treated immediately.

Jon Barron presents us a way of looking at pH that opens up one of the major benefits of alkaline water:
Since hydrogen ions tie up oxygen, a liquid is more acidic and there’s less oxygen available. Now, our cells need oxygen to maintain healthy. Given this, the lower the pH (that causes acidic environment) the less oxygen available for use by our cells. To make it clearer, imagine the situation of acid rain that can kill off the organisms in the lake. The fish literally suffocate to death because the acid in the lake “binds up” all of the available oxygen. It’s not that the oxygen has gone anywhere; it’s just no longer available. On the contrary, if you raise the pH and make the environment alkaline, the oxygen will become available again and the fish in the lake will no longer be suffocating. It’s the same with cancer. Cancer is linked with acidic environments and it cannot survive in alkaline ones, so the lower the pH in our body the greater the chance of getting cancer and vice versa.

Malignant tumors are masses of fast growing cells. This rapid growth means that cellular metabolism also proceeds at very high rates. So, cancer cells are using a lot more carbohydrates and sugars to generate energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). But, some of the compounds formed from the energy production include lactic acid and pyruvic acid. Under normal circumstances, these compounds are cleared and utilized as soon as they are produced. But cancer cells are experiencing metabolism at a much faster rate. Therefore, these organic acid accumulate in the immediate environment of the tumor, and high level of extracellular acidity around the tumor is one of the chief driving force behind the metastasis of cancer tumors.

Taking all of this in account, scientists believe that by moderating the impact of tumor microenvironment with an alkalizing compound, the pH of tumors can be raised enough to starve them and stop their growth and spread.

The amazing thing is that there is no need to spend money and time on creating a synthetic drug to starve cancer cells – a simple, commonly obtained substance like sodium bicarbonate will do a great job.

The best way to impact tumors with sodium bicarbonate is to directly inject the substance in the tumor site, but orally consumed baking soda is safer and can be done at home.

In a 2009 study, the scientists who conducted the experiment injected sodium bicarbonate in a group of mice and observed how the growth and spread of cancer tumors were affected by raising the pH of the organ affected by the cancer. The results showed that baking soda increases the pH level and reduces spontaneous metastases in mice induced with breast cancer.

The researchers also concluded that sodium bicarbonate works by raising the pH outside cells and not within cells. This is very important because it shows that sodium bicarbonate does not interfere with cellular metabolism even as it makes the microenvironment unconducive for tumor growth. But there are other things learned during this study:
Baking soda can reduce the involvement of the lymph node on the transport of cancer cells, does not lower the levels of circulating tumor cells, reduces the involvement of the liver and, therefore, the spread of tumor cells to other organs and can inhibit the colonization of other organs by circulating tumor cells.

To prepare a home remedy for cancer from baking soda, you will need maple syrup, molasses or honey to mix the baking soda with.
Dr. Sircus documented in his book that one patient used baking soda and blackstrap molasses to fight the prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones and this is how he’s done it: On the first day, the patient mixed 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of molasses in a cup of water.

He took this for another 3 days after which his saliva pH read 7.0 and his urine pH read 7.5.

Amazed by the results he got, the patient consumed the remedy 2 times on day 5 instead of once daily. And from day 6 – 10, he took 2 teaspoons each of baking soda and molasses twice daily.

By the 10th day, the patient’s pH had risen to 8.5 and the only side effects experienced were headaches and night sweat (similar to cesium therapy).

The following day his bone scan and other medical tests showed that his PSA (prostate-specific antigen, the protein used to determine the severity of prostate enlargement and prostate cancer) level was down from 22.3 at the point of diagnosis to 0.1.

There’s another recipe that recommends mixing 90 teaspoons of maple syrup with 30 teaspoons of baking soda. To prepare this mixture, heat the maple syrup just enough for it to become less viscous. Then add the baking soda and stir for 5 minute until it is fully dissolved. This preparation should provide about 10-day worth of the baking soda remedy. 5-7 teaspoons per day is the recommended dose for cancer patients.

Note that you should be very careful with practicing baking soda as a remedy. A high pH level can itself cause metabolic alkalosis and electrolyte imbalance. These can result in edema and also affect the heart and blood pressure.
